The Koç University Corporate Governance Forum launched to great acclaim with its inaugural conference on 8 October 2015 at Istanbul’s premiere Bosphorus venue, the Çırağan Palace Kempinski Hotel Istanbul.
A packed audience of senior business executives from across Türkiye gathered to gain expert advice from Andrew Kakabadse, a global authority on Corporate Governance, and hear crucial implementation tips from Siemens’ Global Chief Compliance Officer Dr. Klaus Moosmayer, Doğuş Otomotiv CEO, Aclan Acar. Through a series of high-level panel discussions featuring top European and Turkish business leaders, the conference tackled head on the question of corporate governance in family businesses and the evolving role of the board.
